How 'bout some pics of that Sanger Flatty?

If you only need it to get by . Rectangle ports are not a must .

how bout an ls6 454 with a 427 cam? on paper it's around 600HP high spinnin son of a gun. solid lifters. flat tappet.
-
To install your rect port intake on oval port heads use intake manifold gaskets for rect ports, no problem. It's debateable on whether or not there is power loss due to the mismatch on the ports on most low to moderate HP engines.
-
what do you want for that ls6
-
You'd probably want to change out the flat tappet and solid lifters unless you like adjusting valves. I'll get back to you on price. Gotta figure out how much what's in it cost... Just traded it for a side job over the last two weekends.

no problem just let me know. Would love to get back out on the water
and as for the flat tappet with with solid lifters thats no problem, thats how my last motors where and all that means is more time in the garage with a beer away from the wife and kid and a little alone time with me and my boat ;D

Thats a positive outlook! Sound like someone I could get along with lol.
-
any thought on price yet? 8)

As of right now, I'm gonna hold onto it. I have a project coming up that could use it... refer to the 16' Allusion tunnel thread.

anybody eles out there have anything? please help :banghead:

Might be able to find you a junkyard 454, it came out of a truck, don't know of any others

I've got a fresh 4 bolt 454 long block with paperwork. Came out of a boat I bought. has hyd RV cam, oval heads, etc, just a pump gas deal, not a hot rod motor. I'm going to leak it down today and pull the numbers from the heads and block. Looking for around 2500. Good news is you should be able to get that easy for it when your motor is done. 0 hours on it now. Includes pan and valve covers. Came from Brad's Liberty. The guy had it built then lost interest in the project. I'll get a pic up today.
