Title: Oil cooler setup
Post by: Bunger on May 01, 2016, 05:41:01 PM
Got a Eddie marine oil cooler setup I just pulled off my boat. Ran once at Elsinore for about and hour and realized i had too much oil in my motor causing high oil temps so I don't need it. Paid about 350 for the whole setup. 250$ takes the cooler, mounts, sand which adapter and the lines of you want em.

Oil ports are 1/2" and Plummer with -8 and water ports are 3/4" Plummer -10.  I believe the cooler is 12" long by 2 1/8" diameter. I think overall with all fittings connected it's about 18" long

Bunger, the mounting brackets , they were 2-inch inch?
I see where you took the water from, but where did you dump it?
And your water pressure, was it about 10 maybe 12 pounds?
Thanks for the info. To install it shortly.

Ya I believe 2 1/8. It came with o rings but they were the wrong size so I used the electrical tape your see in there. I dumped the water right out the back of the boat. And ya water psi is roughly 10-15. Make sure you post some pics when u install it I wanna see

It's Eddie marine. I bought it off a guy on performance boats. He bought it and never used it. I think they run like 130-150$ on eddies website
