Anyone need a pair of Holley 600's? I have a pair that have been rebuilt and never used as I went with a single carb setup with my motor.
I paid $450 for them
Let me know.

LMFAO ;D
Apparently Holley sells "matched" sets of carbs which are assembled with different parts than Holley "singles", the matched sets are sold for dual carb set-ups... according to marcsrollin... do you know if this pair of carbs were originaly sold together in a matched set?

I do not know if they were originally sold as A "matched" set, but since I was going to use them on my 461, I had them completely rebuilt and setup by Timinator identically for this purpose....I was going to use them on the new motor but wanted to switch to an rpm airgap and a single HP950.
I just got off the phone with Timm and he said that holley sells carbs for single carb set ups and tunnel ram setups, but you can buy a single TR carb so how would the TR carbs be matched sets if just buying/needing one? He mentioned something about jetting being the difference. I am sure if he sees this thread he will elaborate. Anyhow, if they were not originally a matched set, they are now. He also said if you have any questions regarding these carbs, you can email him and he will run down the details.
I will take pics tonight or tomorrow.
I hope I made sense....I am still learning

Was reading online about matched set carbs and read " There is no such thing as 'MATCHED CARBS'. If someone attempts to sell you 'matched carbs', you are most likely getting ripped off! " unquote :o

I have never seen for sale (I sell Holley and Edelbrock carbs) nor had anyone from carb remanufacturing shops mention matched carbs. Other than how two carbs can be matched to perform the same on a dual setup and such. Either way, a matched setup of carbs is best for 2x4 system.
Just what I have heard over the years ;)

Here are a couple quick pics I took this morning. I realized I smudged them up with dirty hands when we were doing the motor work.

I'd really like to sell them as a pair. If I sell one then I'll have this lonely 600 DP sitting around telling me I should have kept it's mate and bought a tunnel ram to see if there is a difference between them and the HP 950.

Its cool. I got a line on a holley 800 dp anyways ;D thanks.
