i just found a set of o/t wet headers for my new motor. I had bought the headers on the site about 1 mth ago. They are Shoenfeld upswepts that are ceramic coated black. the guy i bought them from said that they have only been run a few times. they look really good. here is the post from when i bought them. Make me an offer if your interested, im going to try and sell these and save some money for the wet headers. http://www.socaljetboats.com/index.php?topic=3950.0 in the thread someone asked if you can put a muffler in them because they are so short, well the answer is yes. Shoenfeld makes them and they are about $30 per side.
Thanks
The Beav

Geez Dave. Those sure didnt last long :screwy: J/K

Well Bob, i figure if i can sell these then i can get the wet ones. If not then the ones i have will be on the boat. Then after we run it at Elsinore then i might put mufflers on them, if they are to loud and what i mean by to loud is my ears bleading, then i will put some type of muffler on them. BTW i got the fiber glass done on the rear of the boat and i installed the exhaust covers for the transom, looks good, i will post pics later

Almost time to go get that new motor ;D. Stock the fridge Jason. ;)

hello, what size and dia.are the primary tubes and collector dia.?thanks , Jim
-
i believe that the tubes are 2" or 2 1/4" and the collector is 4" if you get on the Schoefeld web site they have the dimensions
-
hello again, went to web site. they have several sizes.need part #. how much? Jim

pm sent

the part number was not on the headers but i measured them and they are 2 1/4 so the part number would be 2318
-
Want to trade (if they will work)? See CBB Headers on page two.
-
do you have the part number or anything for them? i would like to know how tall they are because im putting in a new 454 and im not sure where they are going to sit on my boat, its a GlenCoe. The ones i have look good and they are coated black. Are you going to use them for racing?
-
They appear to be about 13 inches from the center of the port to the center of the collector. My best guess on a part number is 11000-3, but who knows after they have been coated. Yes, I want to use them in NJ. Note that they have rectangular ports.
-
mine might be round ports, i will have to look
-
also that part number that you gave me is for V-Drive headers. are they for a V-Drive? if they are they will not work, i have a jet.
-
I have a set of oval port headers, but they need to be ceramic coated. They are just a little longer, but are the same height.
I have a 19' Schiada jet and on my boat they only clear the transum by an inch (too close for confort, even with a heat shield).
It just depends on how your hull is designed.
-
do you have pictures of the other headers? or do you have any wet headers?
-
I will get you some.
-
some wet headers ;D or some pics. i really want some wet headers, i have the bassett "t" already all i need now is the headers, if you have some, then lets trade.
-
Sorry, I only have the dry. Thanks anyway.
-
