I'm not really sure what gen it is. I can tell u the block it's bolted to is a 68 L78 396. I think it's referred to as a MARK VI block. And yes it's for sale. Ran this on my twin turbo as a water cooler for the intercooler. Not really sure what it's worth?

The Mark IV is commonly referred to as a gen 2.

So quite different from a Mark V and VI.

Gen 1, 2, 3 and so IV refers to the engine family.  Once you get to one piece rear,  thingsget odd ,gen IV and V are in the same family. MK VI is slightly different,  but similar in many ways.

Once you get to LS motors,  you may as well be working on a Dodge.

I've got a remote Olson cooler that is apart at the moment. It would need an o ring kit and new bolts to be ready to go. Keep in mind a remote cooler requires extra lines adapters and a remote filter which I don't have. I'll get some pics for you in the next day or 2 when I get back home. $200
