Hello everyone.
I started building a strong and dependable 460 BBF for my 78 Tahiti. The engine was machined and short blocked by a reputable machinist in San Jose, CA and was coming along great. My bosses father-in-law is building a 65 Mustang and had bought a Stroked 460. Once he realized it wouldn't fit he bought a newer cobra jet motor. I bought the Stroker and now need to sell my original build.
Here's what's been done and parts plus some included....
The block has DOVE numbers from a 70' Ford pickup. It's been bored .030 and has Keith Black flat top pistons. the crank has been turned .010. Resized rods, cam bearings have been installed, and the engine had been assembled into a short block.
The heads are the closed chamber style and have had a valve job. Edelbrock Performer intake and new front cover, new water pump, a chrome oil pan or a stock one. Comes wih a stainless bolt kit, chrome valve covers. A new billet distributor and many new gaskets and parts. Cam is available if wanted.
