Welcome to Horsepower Fest! The new event that brings all aspect of horsepower together!
This event we be taking place during the day on November 12th, 2016 at The Avi Resort & Casino in Laughlin, NV on the grass between the hotel and the river. It encompasses all things horsepower related. If your hobby is to make power, we want you there! Bring your boat, truck, car, or offroad vehicle and enter it in the show to be awarded prizes! If you just want to come just check it out - GREAT! Admission is free!
Spectating is FREE!
Admission is FREE for spectators! No catch! Just show up and have a good time and check out the sweet rides. There will be food, beverages and alcohol available - no outside food or drinks allowed. All spectators are required to enter through the casino. This is a family oriented event and we encourage to bring the whole family out! Sorry - no dogs allowed.

Horsepower Fest is proud to host an event benefiting an organization whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) has a big, audacious goal: to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history. We're challenging ourselves to help WWP reach this vision, and we need your help.
Show Registration
Show registration is $50 for each vehicle to participate and includes an event T-Shirt ($20 Value) $10 for each additional class. Online Pre-Regisration is located below. Space is extremely limited. If you are showing a boat, all tow vehicles must be parked in general parking once boat and trailer is placed in the show area. If you are towing your car, truck, or off road vehicle, you must park the tow vehicle and trailer in general parking once the vehicle is placed in the show area. If there is a "For Sale" sign or sticker displayed on your show vehicle, the Avi will require you to purchase a Fort Mohave Indian Tribal Business Permit. If you would rather not use our online regisration, you can fill out the PDF form here and email or fax it to us. Instructions are at the bottom of the form.

Vendors
We will have an assortment of Food Trucks and various Merchandise Vendors at this event. Please click here (http://store.socaljetboats.com/hpf-vendor/) if you are interested in becoming a vendor. As we get more vendors registered, we will be giving them shutouts. Check back for a list of vendors soon!
Raffles
There will be a large Raffle program incorporated in this event. We aren't wasting our time raffling of shirts and hats. We are going after the big stuff! Check back soon as we list the items to be raffled!
Hotel Group Rates
The Avi has a special Group Rate for this event starting at $47.99/night for Standard Rooms, $58.99 for Delux Rooms, and $67.99 for River View rooms. Call 1-800-284-2946 and use the group rate code GSOCAL3 for the rate. This special expires October 28th, so book now!
DVD Release / 10th Anniversary Party
There will be a DVD Release Party for the SoCalJetBoats Vol 4 DVD Saturday Evening. Details are still being hammered out! Being this is the 10th year for SoCalJetBoats.com, we are looking to do something epic! More information to come soon. We promise you wont be disappointed!

Obviously I am going since my hotrod made the flyer. I have a couple questions though.
1. What are the different categories that you can enter?
2. Are there different categories for offroad, trucks, cars, boats?
3. What time does the "Show" boat, truck, car, or offroad have to be set up? Which day?
4. Can I take my car over to the sand drag track and make a couple passes?
I know its still pretty new and maybe not all the details are ironed out, but the more info the better. I will be coming in late friday night.

Yes there are different classes. If you go into the registration process (www.horsepowerfest.com) it asks you several questions about your vehicle you are registering to help decide what classes there will be and what best class to put you in.
The days schedule is still in the works as we are ironing out stuff. The show is Saturday only with the after party / DVD release that evening.
The sand drag deal is most likely not a possibility, at least this year. I don't think it's been used for years but maybe we can pump some life into it at a future event.

Kinda haven't been updating this thread, but been posting all the updates on social media.
This event has officially been approved to be a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project!
Metal Mulisha and Fits Army will be there doing a freestyle motocross show.
The Horsepower Fest After Party and SoCalJetBoats Vol 4 Premier will be in the Avi Ball Room at 7pm. Premier starts at 8pm. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased in the online store http://store.socaljetboats.com (http://store.socaljetboats.com). There will be a full service bar and free appetizers!

Hahaha...thanks, but these are the standard stock photos from the shirt manufacturer....I just Photoshop on the logos as a example. I need to do a photoshoot of all the shirts I have done with models on boats.....Just cant ever seem to find enough time to do it! lol

Was an awesome show. Lots of nice boats and cars! Thanks to everyone that helped us with the car and Theresa's taco stand we couldn't have pulled it off with out the help of everyone. Good job Brad and Brittany you pulled off a very fun event!
