The Avi will be the host for the SCJB August 2015 Gord trip the weekend of August 22nd, 2015. The Venue will be The Avi Resort and Casino which is between Laughlin and Needles. Farmer Gord annually comes down from Canada for this trip, thus why we've called it the 'Gord Trip'.

This event will be promoted along side of the Facebook Group 'Jet Boat Freaks'. Anyone and everyone is always welcome to our events. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

I'm a fairly new member to the site but not to the river or boating. I happened to be at AVI a few years ago with my 75 Rogers, wasn't sure what I had at the time until a few jet boat guys wanted to buy it from me on the spot. I didn't sell it but got stolen six months later from the coast. I went into a flattie for awhile now I just finished building and installing the motor in my 76 Hallett bubbkedeck. Make a long story short I will be there and it will be the first trip to the river matter of fact the boat hasn't seen any water yet. Maybe Sunday for a couple hours just to tune it under a load. I would love to stay at AVI but I can't pass up free suites at the Harrahs but I will be launching at AVI.
