This really bums me out they decided to double book a weekend against my event. I wish I could be at both places, but obviously I had prior commitments dating back to December last year when I booked the date for this event. Whoever is running the ADBA, tell them let's work together, not against each other like this. I'd love to promote their events, but obviously not if they run them parallel to mine. It sucks when you gotta make this small boating community split up like this.

Regardless, good luck to Jake, Dennis and Brian this weekend. Keep us updated!

Hey Brad, we found a problem on the boat and trying to decide what to do.
Guess I could bring a shiny new tow rope. LOL ! The Avi room is available but Dave has been gracious enough to
invite us to stay at the river house while I'm trying to figure it out.
It looks like we have a small hole or maybe a cracked weld in the bottom of the pan.
No big deal at this point but worried if it gets worse.

Really don't want to miss this trip !!! Geezus, now even Mr. & Mrs. Crewchief are showing up ! Love those guys

I know it's a show boat and all....but what's a little oil in the bilge? Run it, bring a extra quart of oil. You'll be fine.

Its gonna leak for sure, I'm just worried if it lets go.
I would use JB weld for sure Jim but I can't get to it and don't have time to pull the motor again.
Guess we'll just go for it, but if you see a CP on the side of the river come say hi.

. If you make Parker from where you will be at you have a bigger problem pull it just takes a few hours and it's back in. What is it hitting? Oil over rated look up an old slick 50 commercial.

after all these years when we rebuilt but didnt have a problem at the time.

. I've only seen it out once and had oil all over then you will be fine.
