Title: 2021 Long Beach Sprint Boat Nationals
Post by: Brad @ SCJB on July 16, 2021, 11:43:33 AM: We are excited to announce that SoCal Jet Boats will be sponsoring the 2021 Long Beach Sprint Boat Nationals at Marine Stadium on August 7th and 8th. This is THE BEST boat racing you will see in Southern California! We'll have our full vendor booth there as well as our usual canopy on the beach for spectators. See you all there!

I’m assuming you go into the gate at the top end of the bay, the address listed. Assuming that parking lot gets full, do you just park in the local neighborhood or is there another parking lot we should park in?
Where are the pits at? And I assume, we pack in on the beach to watch?
Just tying to plan on how to pack and prepare myself to deal with crowds.

The pits are in the parking lot on the corner of the marina and that waterway that goes to the left at the bottom. Between the pits and the spectator parking is a long sandy beach for everyone to hang out and spectate. You can bring outside food and beverages. No outside alcohol. There is food vendors and a beer garden. You can bring chairs and canopies, but again, the beach fills up early.

We will have a 10x20 canopy on the beach for SCJB peeps to use freely. Also we will have a 10x20 canopy next to our vendor booth with bar top tables and chairs for people to hang out.

We will also have a community canopy on the beach for people to get some shade while on the beach. PLUS we will have a social area next to the Vendor Booth with high top tables and bar stools for people to hang out! See you all there!

Location: Long Beach Marine Stadium

Dates: August 7th & 8th, 2021
Gates open at 8:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday
9:00 a.m. - Practice
11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Racing
No pre-sale tickets. Tickets are only available at the gate each day.

$20 Adult admission per day
$10 Child admission (ages 5-10) per day,
kids under 5 are free
Military with active ID free
Parking $20 per day
Coolers are allowed, no alcohol. All coolers are subject to search.
Beer Garden on-site.
V-Drive boat display and Vendors (food and merchandise)
Bring chairs to sit and enjoy the races!
