You better be there, I'm so excited!!!

There are no hotels near by, it's more of a RV/trailer place like McIntyre. The event takes place at the sandbar and you can launch from Fishers or Martinez Lake. There are several people at those RV parks that rent out their homes. I know you aren't on Facebook, but I think your daughter is? I could invite her to the Martinez Rental page and maybe she could book one for you? If this is something you would be interest in, let me know her full name on Facebook so I can find her!

I hope you make it out, I know you will love it.  Brad and I have been a few times... Once we cruised 15+ miles up river and it was absolutely amazing with canyons and hidden little openings to other lakes. So fun!!

Sending you all my best and big hugs

Here is a preview of this year's Yuma Power Tour shirt design! It features Jimmy Fishback's 1979 Youngblood Gullwing and Rick Dickerson's T-Deck Cole

We'll have these shirts and posters for sale on the sandbar the weekend of the event. Like last year, if there is enough interest and we sell out, we'll do another run for online sales after the event. We'll make an announcement later about those details.

These will be printed on Black shirts only in the following sizes/styles:
Mens Black T-Shirts Small through 5XL
Mens Black Tank Tops Small through 3XL
Womens Black Racerback Tank Tops Small through 2XL

See you all out there!

Power Tour need to knows from my pal Nikki please read ALL information.

Where to stay:
If you haven't booked lodging yet you can search in Lower River Junkies or Martinez Lake Rentals.
If you are active military there are very affordable options available at Yuma Proving Grounds.
If you need something in town, the closest hotels are
Comfort Inn & Suites Yuma I-8
10553 S Fortuna Rd, Yuma, AZ 85367•(928) 305-9000
Best Western Plus Yuma Foothills Inn & Suites
10731 S Frontage Rd, Yuma, AZ 85367

Where to eat:
There are 2 bars/restaurants. There is the Rio Loco and Martinez Lake Cantina. Both will be open for the weekend. Martinez Cantina will be open until 2am both nights

Where to launch:
The Fishers Landing launch ramp will be where majority of visitors launch from. There is plenty of trailer parking available and there is no charge to launch.
The launch ramp will be much better this year, there is no ferry boat parked and none of the ramps are blocked this year.

Getting Around:
Until youve been it gets confusing talking about 2 parks in one location. Fishers Landing and Martinez Lake are the same area just separated by a small hill. Golf carts are everywhere and if street legal allowed for use.
If you want to rent a golf cart for the weekend there will be some available onsite in front of the Rio Loco.
Premier Golf Cars Of Yuma

Event Info:
CASH ONLY
Friday Day is when the big tire guys will be running. Friday night you will find a lot of us in the Martinez Bar, if you want or need more info on what to expect Saturday come by and talk, I also heard you might be able to get event shirts a day early there.

The Sandbar is approx 5 miles upriver from Fishers Landing, you won’t be able to miss the SoCalJetBoats booth. Please go to the booth and check in so we know you're there and you plan on participating. While you’re at the booth Brad and Britt will have event shirts and all their swag, please BRING CASH as there is no cell phone service.

Hoping to have our first few boats running by 1pm on Saturday.

If you were at the event 2 years ago you should remember the circle boats, we have about 5 or 6 guys coming again this year!

On the Sandbar please do your best to not block boat parking in front of the booth, we are trying to get the boats participating parked in front so that they have easy access in and out to the lanes.

See y’all this weekend!
