The 2nd Stop of the 2022 SoCal Jet Boats Summer Tour will be Mothers Day weekend at Back Bay which is located in Laughlin Marina just north of Big Bend State Park. Some of us (Friday Crew) will be there hanging out on Friday. The majority of people will be there Saturday.
We want to remind and reiterate to everyone that the area in Laughlin Marina is a strictly enforced no wake zone. This area is a wildlife preserve and there is signs marking areas where there is no motorized boats allowed. All laws of the waterway are strictly enforced - including drinking and driving.

Launch Ramp InformationBig Bend State Park: Launch Fee is $25 ($20 for NV Residents). It's been stated that they have been filling up and restricting access once full so if you are using this park to launch from, I suggest you get there early. If you get there before the attendant is in the booth, please be honorable and use the envelope to drop your launch fee at the booth.
Lazy Harrys: Launch is free, but parking is VERY limited. If the water level is low, you probably wont be able to exit the channel until the water level comes up. The restaurant still remains closed at this time for renovations.
Rotary Park: Launch fee is $25, ample parking.
Avi Resort & Casino:
Launch ramp is currently closed for renovations!Riverside Casino / Laughlin Public Ramp: Launch is free, decent ramp, but you are launching into current and dealing with the PWC traffic near the casinos.
Bayshore Inn: Launch is free for hotel guests. Launches right into back bay. We had zero issues launching here even when the water was at its lowest.
***Be aware, like any section of the river, there are underwater hazards along this stretch of river. We are not responsible if you damage your boat hitting rock or sand bars, logs, etc. The water levels fluctuate on the river, so something that might be visible in the morning, might be just under the surface in the evening. If you are unfamiliar with the area, ask someone for advice or follow another experienced boater.
