so its been while since ive hit up laughlin area....do we have any possible day plans for saturday? like
wheres the group launching? around what time? are there launch fees?...im aware everything is tenitive and amount of water
where will we be floating to?
lunch time activities on saturday?

For the record, Big Bend is a Nevada State Park. I called and verified they are not impacted by the current circus acts going on in DC that has caused our Government to shut down. They are open for business.

From what I remember, there is a steel post.....with envelopes.
That you are supposed to our cash in.
Later on, a ranger will drive through write down all the plate numbers and reference them back to "paid envelopes" collected.
At least that's how i remember it.

What are the ramp fees, parking situation and is the channel deep enough for us to get to the entrance of the Back Bay to the river? Launching at the Laughlin Marina may make it dicey depending on how far down river folks want to go, especially for some of the fuel challenged attendees. What say you Danny?

It should be deep enough for jets if not I will walk it it's only about a 30' section in question. It will be a learning experience I guess but I would rather give my money to the private sector rather than government.

You guys can do what ya like but I am trying to centralize the event to big bend so everyone knows where to go to meet up and hang out. If we start going in different directions with this, everyone will be scattered all over the place.
