Any word on Lake Elsinore events? Flat bottom Regatta on Jan 1 and Tom Papp Jan? Our beach is open to all boat owners, NO launching or parking. Just pull in and Party. Just north of Crane's and Weekend Paradise.

How thick is the algae at the shoreline?
Word is the TPM will be in the parking lot at Laguna if the water still sucks.

COUPLE GUYS ASKED IF THEY COULD BRING THERE CP,S FROM YOUR SITE..I TOLDEM NO AND POSTED UP WHAT THE GUYS HAVING IT SAID........I TOOK IT DOWN...I DONT WANT BRAD PISSED AT ME.....BUT THE REASON FOR IT LAST YEAR OVER 50 V DRIVE BOATS SHOWED UP WITH ONLY ROOM ON THE BEACH FOR 1/2..NO ROOM FOR XTRA BOATS THEY HAD ALOT OF JETS THAT WANTED TO COME....BUT LIKE IT SAID IT WAS V DRIVE ONLY GET TOGETHER NOW ITS A ANUAL DEAL THEY EXPECT OVER 75 THIS YR......THE OWNER WANTS TO HAVE A JET BOAT ONLY THING IN MAY OR JUNE NO V DRIVES..

Wow....I invite all forms of boats to all my events and these clowns wanna snub out everyone else, and with attitude. No wonder these vdrive guys have such a bad wrap.
...and that June event is not SCJB. It was a JBF event and like 6 boats showed up and I was accused of being the cause of the events failure by telling people not to go. Lol right. Don't ever link me to that event or that group again, thanks.

Not really sure why you would post a v drive only event on a jet boat site. 🤔 couldn't imagine the feed back i would get if I were to post one of my social gatherings on a v drive site.

K.. I have to jump in, since I am a resident "vdrive guy" on scjb. And have always said you guys have been more then wellcoming to me anytime I show up anywhere and have fun with my shit talking.. Not sure why the nyd deal is so vdrive only. I myself have never been to a vdrive event, iv only been to scjb events.. So for that Brad I thank you... But remember this is also socalvdrives. Com legally owned by Brad so why can't they post their event here???

Boat is appart and getting painted but sure no matter how nice of a jet you have you wouldn't be welcome to launch with them. But on a up note we will be in Blythe and doing a meet up ride with good guys down in Yuma. Meeting az side across from Walters camp area. Everyone invited to come out and take the cruise. Jet boaters, v drivers, shit even those guys with those egg beaters can tag along. Bring your dirt toy or drive the daily! So if you can't make it to the v drive deal make it out to Blythe New Year's Eve and have some fun

As you said no jets on the beach or parking lot, even if my boat was together I wouldn't waste my time to drive to the drivers meeting then drive my 40k jet boat from la Laguna to make a speed pass and drive back. Then park on the street or leave it at la laguna to go check out some sweet rides. Hope you guys have a great time and post up some pics

Yeah no interest in my part. Let them guys have there good time. It seems that these two groups just grow farther apart. I'm not much for adding to the trouble between the two. I have friends with both but they all get along. Unfortunately ass hats own boats also and sometimes we get to deal with them. Not sure who would want to hangout with a bunch of guys like that anyway.

As the add says it's not that jet boaters are not allowed we just can't bring our boats. Not enough room for us. Sounds like they need to find a place that can accommodate a few more guys. A lot of bad ass rides built this year that are just as clean as your average v drive.

And as far a jim saying "some v drive guys can be asshats" that also goes two ways. There are plenty of jet boat owners that are asshats as well. Same as there are plenty of v drives guys that are stand up dudes as well as plenty of jet boat guys that are the same.

. I said boat owners that covers all. I've meet all kinds and so far the biggest ass hat I have meet owns a jet boat.
3 reasons I don't want to go
1. No motor in my boat at this time
2. I would not want to put my boat in Elsinore in its current state.
3. I would not want to go where we are not wanted.

The execution of his statement was what rubbed me the wrong way. Yes, Billy B asked me to relay a message to not have a ton of average jet boats swarm his event due to space, but the manner wasn't being a jackass like this guy, which may be looked upon by him as getting our feelings hurt by how he said it. Bottom line is when you post shit like that, it doesn't come across good in any way. If you want a successful event and people to respectfully show up, get some tact. Billy B worded it perfectly to me, this guy sounded like a elitist kook.

Attention!!!. I was just reminding anyone that would like to attend Jan 1st OR the TPM you can pull up your Hot Rod's on my private beach.; It is clean and 3 times the size of Weekend Paradise. Wade at Weekend Paradise sponsors the V-Drive event and has not enough room. No launching or parking from my beach yet you can pull up and enjoy the day. Just like hanging out in the cove. So seems like this Jacko guy has pissed off quite a few people with his way of dealing with the situation. Apparently, he has deleted his posts off FB and claims there will be a signup sheet at this weekends event and next year will be 'invite only'.
I got under his skin on PB a bit but he still doesn't get it. Still thinks us 'jet boat guys are morons'. Just do me a favor and ignore him - hes doing a great job himself driving his own event into the ground.

Seems to me at any event all sorts of boats show up. To me it doesn't matter it gives fellow boaters a chance to see what other boaters have and ask questions.

So is the TPM on the 7th or the 14TH? I was at the VDrive show on the first and drove a cracklin 680 HP jet boat to their beach. No problem.

Thanks Mouzer. Event was excellent. I have a good friendship with Wade at Weekend Paradise.. My beach is open for the TPM. Only a few can launch. Yet anyone can pull in and enjoy the boats and party. And maybe some full throttle fun in front of us. Can anyone clarify that the TPM is the 14th?
