Hey Skip, how far do you keep the money up your ass? If you use a wallet it's a lot easier to keep track of, just saying ;)

piru is fine in the middle lets see if anybody else will go i can also get phillip to go and a 21 blown eliminator another friend of mine he loves that lake potsy can help find that money up there

I just finished up with the motor swap, it's official, I am chevy powered now ;D.
I'll be heading out to Piru sometime before the end of the week (test n tune) if all goes good, I'm in. We missed out on the San Antonio trip, so I told the girls we would camp out that weekend (13th-14th), I am pretty sure we will be going to Piru. Buenavista might be a little far for us but we'll see where you all decide to go.

I've always liked Buena Vista and have never been to Piru.

We'll make it out if you all choose where your going. BV would be cool for an overnighter but Piru or crapstaic is closer.

piru is off the 126 about 20 min west of magic mountain so lets say it will be piru for day trip or buena vista if flytime can put together an overniter i just need a good jetboat day so lets see what the next couple of days brings the more the better

Piru sounds good to me, I was talking to Natedawg, and Rick, (the guy with the day cruiser @ San Antonio this past weekend) and they will be down to go as well. The campsites are nice, we will probably pitch tents for the night.

Well it looks like I might have to bail out om my own stinkin trip. :mad: Have some schedule conflicts that I just found out about last night. There is still about a 10% that I might be able to go. I should know in the next couple days. I will keep you guys posted. ::)

I havn't been to BV since I was a kid, but from what I hear the flies are a real pain in the AZZ. I will still be dialing in the motor, so I dont really want to travel to far until I know it'll make it whole weekend ;D.....Yes the olds ruined me, I have had to end every trip early this summer because of the olds. I am confident that the olds/chevy swap turned out good. but I would still like to stick a little closer to home just in case. The downside to Piru is that it is a mini ocean from like noon til late afternoon. I will probably take it out this friday or saturday and see how the initial test and tune goes.

never had problem with flies let us know how it goes this weekend have lots of chevy parts to help out and we all have that same burn from otms god lovem ps if your motor breaks just a reason to drink more beer

Don't sweat the Chevy, we got parts & tools, it can be fixed if it breaks. BV is only an hour from Piru anyway, what's an hour? Bring Rick (guy with the Commander cruiser) with you too!

Change of plans for me. Ill prob be at Big River that weekend. My first long awaited trip down there. Im stoked. ;D

Wish knew where everyone was going. My internet is down at the house so wont be able to check this over the weekend. Guess will have to see next week.

I've got a campsite booked at BV, RogersTR and his family are heading up next Sat morning, my wife & I will be there, hopefully Dozzr gets his boat all dialed in and he & Rick can make it, all are welcome.

I took the boat out to Piru yesterday and for the first time in a while I didnt spin a bearing ;D, I love the chevy already, I did get some water in the tanks somehow, so I am going to get it on a hill and siphon it out, and head back out this afternoon. The distributer I have sux-azz (old point style), but all in all I was pretty happy coming home last night. It isn't as fast as the olds was but It just "feels" so much stronger. anyway I am going to tweek a couple things, and head back out this afternoon and see how it does.

I am not going to make it. I went out to Ming last night to take some plug readings and pushed the intake gasket out, so I have some work to do. :'(

This sucks, I got the boat pretty much dialed in, but my nieces B-day is the following weekend (I forgot) and we had planned a trip way back when. I would love to come up for a day but its just a little to far. Damit sorry all, I will try to make the next one.

We will be heading to Castaic in the morning. Got the boat out of storage and she is ready.

GREAT DAY on the lake today!!! Tow Truck and his family came up, we met them out @ the lake, got a nice spot to set up camp, lake wasn't too crowded, lots of run time today, I almost burned through 20 gallons of fuel! Boat ran bitchin'. All in all a great day, one of those days that reminds you of why you have a boat in the first place.................................. .....
