Catfish Cantina had large stacks and huge cups, and the food was pretty good too........

But I'd be down for a BBQ deal. I didn't even pay attention if the grilles were still even there.....But I'd volunteer Chili again, unless Keith and Michelle are going to make it, theirs is awesome, and doesn't cause colon concerns the next day, in which case I'll whip up some Dead Dick's bean dip instead....or maybe both anyway for giggles.....

Hey all you Big River guys and gals, I had a thought ( I know dangerous ) I was wondering if anybody might
be up for a morning blast up the strip and maybe breakfast at Roadrunners or Foxes Saturday morning

A bunch of jet boats on the strip early would be pretty cool, then back to Big River, just a thought.

Also hey Keith, we saw in your post with Michelles foot that she broke it in her classroom, my wife is also a teacher
and was curious what class or grade level she edgamacates ? and bummer she broke it, but I guess you guys will make it work.

She is doing ok with it so far but she came home early today due to pain

She ordered a couple of cast condoms online and is more than ready for the river

Right on Skip, rally the troops. Lets do this, to hell with the wake barges and ocean liners we'll take back the strip for a minute or so.

We feel yours and her pain Keith, Sheree' teaches 1st grade in what used to be a decent neighborhood
but not so much anymore. the girls should talk, and thumbs up to her for going anyways.
You guys seem to get hurt a lot.

so as some of you know, i had to move recently on a real short notice. its still biting me in the ass financially. making this trip is looking very grim for me. I am still trying to get things settled here and will know for sure weather I can make it.

i have a room reserved. I want to throw it up for grabs and I will find a floor to crash on. Is anyone still looking for a room at the Big River Inn for this weekend? This would help cut some of the weekends costs down.

The other dilemma:

i got the parts to put the southwind back together and bring it, or i can bring the race boat. (its ready to roll)

if i bring the race boat, i gotta buy a barrel of go-juice for it. Here in town, I am looking at like 10/gal for 110oct...and then im limited to how far i can go as it only has a 7 gallon tank. I can carry or have someone carry some fuel jugs for me....but still, it will be a PITA.

the southwind burned up a bearing on the last trip out and it just needs to be assembled and drop the motor back in it...but i have had ZERO luck with that boat for some time now.

So which should i bring? bust my ass and bring the southwind just to probably take a shit on me again? or bring the faster boat and have some fun?

i know my instinct says dont go blow a shitload of money on gas for the race boat, but then the irresponsible side of me says i wanna do it anyways

Sell the room and put that money towards gas in 888. When you get home, take your time putting the Southwind back together instead of thrashing and fuking something up again. My .02

I would vote that you sell the room and leave both boats at home. You have plenty of friends going that always have a seat for you. This will help you get back on top.

Are you guys launching at any certain time? Is there a sandbar nearby that everyone will be going to? I've been to parker many times but have never been to Big River on a boat.
