Did anybody else go? Marc? Great weather for racing on Sat. Walked enough to make my legs tight still today. I'm digging the vibe at this race. It's kinda like being at the river, where you just sit anywhere on the ground and guys make fast passes right in front of you. Killer grub about 100 ft. away. Glad I wasn't doing retrieval on that stupid little ramp that goes right into a muddy hillside. Poor planning here but it wouldn't have been a problem except for the recent rain.
Talked to RiverDad quite a while in the morning. His new gullwings are amazing. Big bang for the buck. Very nicely done graphics and custom blower and it is brand spanking NEW. And he did a damn nice re-hab job on my trailer. Thanks again Jason.
And I didn't take a camera so don't ask. I think I have one in my phone.
I saw 228 mph in a qualiying run but I think some went faster later. I also heard them saying Tony Scarlotta was driving. I thought he had stopped racing of all kinds. Hmmm So did anybody else go. Talk to me and explain why you didn't buy me a beer. :o

He only gave up circle racing. All of his near death crashes have been in circle boats.

I made it out on Sunday, great racing and some fast rides. GC is on the money with the relaxed vibe of the whole thing, we sat about 5ft from the water at one point while they were pulling 200mph passes. Fun time for sure and I even got a little tan on Sunday believe it or not.
