I'll be there with the string puller....didn't even throw a cover on it over the winter....hosed her off the other day and turned the key for shits and grins....lit right up.  I guess we're ready.

Motel 6 is the closest to BR and the parking for boats is good.  Unguarded but good.  Next door to decent Mex and Burger King too.

There is the Motel 6 (aka Bridge Inn), Kofa Inn, El Rancho, Best Western, Bluewater Resort & Casino all in parker which is about a 10 minute drive from Big River.

...and for the record, El Sarape (the mexican restaurant GC mentioned above) moved to a much smaller location on California Ave (the 95 headed out to PHX)

i was just surfing and found a condo for rent somewhere in big river, if any one wants the info, go to vacationrentals.com, go to arizona, then parker. it was the last one on the list and says it sleeps 8

The only condos I know of in big river are the turtle back condos. They're on the water about a mile down from the day park.

Right on!  I have been gone overseas every summer for a while and have missed all these events on the river. Got my boat down to Big River last weekend and left it at my family's place, so now I just got to jump in the Vette and haul ass from Vegas to BR.
