I've got one you can pick up on your way out, either Redlands or Corona.  BUT I really need it back before I leave town on the 23rd.
John, if you can drop it off at my shop in Redlands I can get it to the river.  It would have to be tomorrow or Friday because I'm starting my Fathers Day festivities this weekend at Parker.  ;D

That would be awesome. Thanks boys.....

If not, I gotta stop by Spanky's on my way in Friday (If I remember where it is) in Parker to replace the one that was jacked last year, so I can get two.....

I will put it in my truck now.  I have an appt. at 4 today downtown and will try to get it to you before 5.  If you guys are gone I'll try again Fri or maybe I'll just leave it there under a car or someithing.   I'm pretty sure I have your phone number in either case so I can let you know what's up.

Thanks, John.

Bob, I have the box anchor but it doesn't have a rope (I think I have an extra one around).

Call me and we can get together.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that today was not a precurser of things to come  :banghead:

This afternoon my Wife calls me and says she has a nail near the edge of her tire (month old Goodyears), so I have her stop at my old shop to have them take a look at it.  They patched it but recommended replacing the tire, so I ordered another new tire  :banghead:

Michelle takes the car to Cabazon to meet her dad and swap vehicles (so we can tow the camping trailer and boat the same day), on her way home she stops for food and hears a hissing sound, by the time she gets the food and pulls away to park the tire is FLAT!  :banghead:

So, I gather up my nitrogen bottle, jack and tools and run to the rescue  :screwy:  (should have made her call AAA)  ;)

Somehow she ran over a razor blade and cut the hell out of the tire (another Goodyear) :banghead:

Well, I shoved a plug in it, aired it up, and sent her home.  Tomorrow I'll get it busted down and patch it correctly and keep my fingers crossed that the damn thing doesn't come apart during the trip to Parker.

After all this the tires I was concerned about are on the travel trailer, this could be an expensive vacation  :banghead:

I think I have a headache!

I am sure you know crew, to plug AND patch, and put it in the rear. And if it is in the shoulder of the tire, it is junk, just my .02

Thanks,  both were right rear already.  The Mazda tire was close to the shoulder so it is being replaced.  The Chevy truck tire was in the center of the tread but was about 1" cut in the lug, I'll find out tomorrow how bad the inside looks

It really does suck when they get hit in the shoulder of the tire, cause that is the worst place. That is where the most flexing goes on, and also the end of the belt package. A lot of places will patch it up and say your good to go, but that isn't right.  Good luck with your Trk tire

How the heck do you run over the "business" side of a razor blade?

That'll teach you to shop local.   Stay away from those evil "big box stores"        (inside Redlands joke)

You don't have to play that politically correct bullshit here Tom, we drink on the water too, we just don't let anyone get out of control with it. Once they're trailered, then the fun begins. Bring your drinking shoes!
