I've always wanted to try Martinez.  Since I don't live in S.D is it worth the drive or would I be better served in Havasu Springs?

I like martinez. I think its similar to blythe except less sandbars. But Martinez and Fishers tend to get pretty crowded on the big weekends. And there is a prescence of cops on those weekends as well. But on off weekends its cool. Water is easy too.
