Does anyone have any plans yet? ???  My plans didnt fall through for that weekend.. trying to think of somewhere to go..

My wife and I are hitting Laughlin.  It's just us and wouldn't mind having some drinking buddies.

What's up fella's, another virgin here. Me and the lady were thinking where to go this labor day weekend? So far it'd between laughlin or parker? Couple of buddies were headed to parker but I never been to either. Usually we head out to echo bay. What should we expect from those choices and which one would be best on labor day? Thanks!

i am done with the river/lake on big weekends... almost sunk my boat last time because of idiots on the water... ha. headin out to AVI next month for sure tho on an off weekend

I'm agree with 72Challenger about avoiding Parker and Laughlin on the holidays.  Far too many knuckleheads that shouldn't be on the water.

Come out this weekend to Big River just below the Parker Headgate dam and hang out with a bunch of us from SCJB  :thumbup:

Thanks crewchief. Ya I was thinking it would be a zoo out there. I've also been floating through the forums and have been eyeing that trip. Where is big river about? I've never been that way and what are the rooms around where everybody is staying?

Big River is a few miles south of Parker.  If your going to Parker from the Cali side (hwy 62) you pass the Big River sign/cut off shortly before you get to the bridge to crossover into Parker.

Most of us stay at the Big River Inn but last I heard it is sold out this weekend.  Several others are staying in Parker at one of the motels in town.

The water doesn't come up until after 10am below the dam, so you don't have to hurry to get on the water.

Probably honey-doos Labor Day weekend, then Avi the following weeknd. Football season starts. So with that, Blackjack and a jet on the river, should be a nice weekend.

We got a small group of four boats or so going out to echo bay lake mead or out to swallow cove. Is anybody heading out that way over labor day?

Ill be down in twin palms for the holiday weekend. but you dont want to run down there its to shallow and full of alligators and anacondas..  >:D

Not sure if you saw but a group of us from here in Vegas are going to Willow this saturday.

Ah man just seen that. Tomorrow sucks for me. Gotta get the wife car out of the shop and good friends anniversary. Man that sucks!
