Here is the information you have been waiting for. The 2008 Lake Ming Regatta- Stock Outboard Divisionals. Please print a copy for yourself and remember there is NO registration on Saturday or Sunday (you may add or scratch classes). Late registration will be On-Site on Friday Feb. 29 and there will be a late fee charged for those that do not pre-registration completely or don't pre-register at all.
HOST HOTEL: Racer HQ- La Quinta Hotel 3232 Riverside Dr. - 800-531-5900 - Use block conf. #0646GRDWXQ under SCSC Boat Race 2008 for discounted racer rate of $69/night (minimum two night stay and single or double occupancy). Drop dead date for reservations is 02/06/08 so make your reservations now!

Ramada, Days Inn, Comfort Inn, EZ-8 - 661-322-1901
Camping on-site is available- $30/weekend CASH, NO CHECKS will be collected from each Motorhome or camper (Note: regardless if you stay in it or not, this is at the discretion of the Park Ranger).

as of now....the 10 day forecast isnt showing rain all next week and through the weekend.....lets hope it stays that way.

theres only 2 jet classes....each class has 4 heats....2 each day....sometimes we dont run for the first time until 1 or 2 pm.
even if i knew the schedule or order of classes and told you what it was, it would change 10 times before the races even started....then change 10 more times throughout the day.

5 North(obviously) - 99 North (toward Fresno/Bakersfield) - Exit 178 East - 178 bends to the left into Kern Canyon Road - Make a left at Alfred Harrell Hwy - Right at Lake Ming Road - You're there.

woohoo the wife said were a go! leaving early Saturday morning from Vegas, should be there by 9 or 10. I will participate in BBQ! If I need to pitch in with $$$ let me know how much and I will make sure I bring some xtra cash with me!

He was wobbling down the straight and then it flipped up on the side and ejected him, flipped back the other way and you've seen what happened next!
On a personal note:
It was awesome to meet all of the guys that were there supporting the team boats. Luckie Stiff/and Christies hospitality was incredible, and so was the Tri-tip! Flytime(Bob), thanks for the hookup on the room!
Brad, Thanks for the Monster and the effort/time/$$$ that you put in to this site that brings so many of us together! And everyone else there that made it a great weekend, See you guys in Parker if not sooner! I also have a ton of pictures that I need to resize and post up of Saturday.

it was a bad weekend for chevy's..... but we'll be back. David's motor was his enduro motor, my motor didn't break, and Nick just had an expensive weekend. Don't worry .....Fords still suck. Those BIG fords don't like the rod angle for very long......hehe...see you guys in parker!!!
