The A-game cj 72 will not be ready till maybe march. The engine will however be run in Squirtin Thunder at Parker @ The Thanksgiving Regatta.

That is for the other engine nj 472, not the cj 429. The cj engine will get parts that well don't matter and low $$. Being this is a class where you hang it all out.

as of right now, the only boat i have confirmed that wants to go is the 288 boat.
72 - broke
53 - broke
410 - broke (terry's new cucci wont be ready in time either)
812 - doesnt want to go
32 - under construction
20 - broke
Only other boat would be the Bruces if they have put their boat together yet.
I wont even be able to go out there either.
I know youre wanting more seat time, but doesnt look like this NJBA thing is going to happen next weekend.

That is some funny shit right there being Jim Brock told me Friday that it was a go and he has it all set-up. On that same note he told me that Terry would be ready to run.

well, Terry, not Jim Brock, told me differently friday night when he called me asking what the deal was because Finney was interesting in doing it.
so if Jim Brock gave you the 'its a go' and youre taking that as fact...then why are you asking me?
I think you took what Jim Brock said and twisted it. Yes, the comp jet exhibition is set up and ready to go with the NJBA, but as I see it, its on a case by case per event based on boat count.
As i stated above, the boat count isnt there. If theres a sufficiant boat count, I will call Rolph and move foward to set it up for you guys. Otherwise I am not going to waste his time if not enough boats are going to show up to not even make a decent race.
So lets recap.....who can confirm they are 100% interested?
Propless: What day (maybe both) is to be determined based on who wants to run what days after we get a boat count.

Well Finney is out, being they are totally apart at this time from the 300, as they had rocker arm failure.
Terry is out as his new engines are not done, as I have seen one at D'Cucci boats.
Toby is out as his engine is after Terrys.
I am out because balance job was not done right, has to be redone.

Unless you heard differently recently from the Finney camp....Rodger told Terry he just needed to put new rocker arms on and he was ready to go for this event....but if what you said is the case, then thats one less boat and brings the confirmed boat count to zero.
Are you broke or what? You have yet to say if you want to participate or not. Last I heard you were making milkshakes in your bilge.
The door is still open to anyone who wants to run this exhibition event.....but we're running out of time to get a boat count.

ok, there ya have it. ;) (I didn't see your edit before I posed)
Unless theres some group of people racing circles who we don't know about, I think its safe to say this event is not going to happen.
The next NJBA race is March 17th and 18th. Lets count on being there for that race. I don't know when the SCSC race is, but I assume its around that time.
After the Thanksgiving SCSC race, I will coordinate with Rolph to see if we can get Comp Jet as a class within the NJBA for 2008 instead of just doing exhibition runs. As you know, everything revolves around the number of boats we can bring. We brought more jets then pro stocks to ming 3 weeks ago and Ross was blown away. If the class continues to grow the way it has this year, the sky is the limit. We just need to keep the boat count strong and I am trying to contribute as much as I can to keep this class growing in the direction it is.
PS - I will be making an announcement about SCSC CompJet shortly.

Let me make a point: Being completely torn down on a Monday has never kept me from racing the next weekend. As there is not enough boats to make a class I will pass on Bakersfiield, and get ready for Parker. I plan on giving this class my full support.

Let me make a point: Being completely torn down on a Monday has never kept me from racing the next weekend. As there is not enough boats to make a class I will pass on Bakersfiield, and get ready for Parker. I plan on giving this class my full support.
