So Cal people
« on: December 13, 2006, 06:22:15 AM »
i know this is a boat page i have a nice boat, but anyway its desert season and im heading to ocotillo wells this weekend, just seeing if anyone else is heading to the deserts this weekend, i know there will be alot of beer in my camp if anyone wants to cruise by (and bring some of your own) and i can pretty much be sure that my lovely (yea right) sandrail will be broken down with carb problems in my camb (so i will bring lots of beer for frustration)

I would love to, Octillo Wells is prime beef for my YZ250, but I've got too many kids, too many bills, a fresh first DUI (OUCH), and that trip isn't even close to me right now.

Do you plan on going out for New Year's?? I'm in the middle of making plans with a couple of neighbors and co-workers to roll out to Glamis for that weekend. I'll probably roll out on Thursday since the 28th is my birthday , I figured might as well make a long weekend out of it.

I'll most likely be by canal road. The rangers don't go over that far nearly as much.

I remember those marathon drinkin weekends at glamis. As a matter of fact , I'm about due for another . One thing I never understood about the quick sand videos is when people jump through the fires and some didnt make , yet people still keep doin it  ??? ??? ??? I just hope that at  some point nature takes it's course and those people get thinned out.
