Booked! This will be my season opener/ birthday run uncle sams going to give me the time off. seems like it can't come soon enough. I'll be stayin at the Tropicana Thursday then down to the avi friday to Sunday

Wish I could join you guys but seeing I drive a semi, and still trying to buy my first boat... I doubt I'll be able to make it out there. Be sure to take lots of pics!!! I live in south east Texas, I'd be willing to drive a few states over in any direction I know crater lake in AZ is a great place for an event. There's also a few places in Texas but the cops out here on the lakes can get ridiculous on the weekends. Any events happening between June 20 - 26th or anytime in July August or September y'all let me know so I can plan out ahead!!! I need as much notice as I can get!! Thanks and y'all have a good time. Some one drink a Budweiser for me.

It will be good to see you and the family again.
We will be staying at our new to us river house in Mohave Valley.
We will most likely launch at the AVI with everyone else.
This way we can spend some time with everyone in the parking lot.

We got promotional support from Michelada Love. They are an all natural mixer to put in your beer to make a Michelada aka Red Beer. A free bottle will be placed in all rooms that are booked under the group rate. Group rate code expires tomorrow (wednesday april 27th) at midnight so book right away.

Also, there was a fire at the hotel yesterday. It was only storage shed, but the fire was caused by fireworks. That being said, even though they sell fireworks in the gas station, there is no fireworks allowed in the parking lot. There is a designated area on the north side of the hotel - opposite side to where the boat parking is. Because of this recent fire, there will be a zero tolerance for fireworks. You will be banned from the hotel.
Also, wristbands will be required to be on the beach. Make sure you get yours when you check in. For those of you who aren't staying at the hotel, but are planning on hanging out at the beach - come find me. I will have extras on me.

We were finally doing it. Normally we Cruze up from our place in Willow valley Via boat and visit for awhile. Not this time! We booked a room for Friday & Saturday night and going to be able to hang and party with everybody this time. We're leaving the boat at home this trip it's just too much launching & retrieving at the Avi with two little girls. This weekend will be all about relaxing and hanging out. Can't wait.

Trust me Dave I'm lucky enough to boat that stretch of the river every other weekend if not every weekend throughout the summer. I just wanna kick back some cold ones hangout at the beach & pool with the wife, kids and visit with everybody else this weekend and be tourist...lol!

So I have some good news, but unfortunately it's too short of a notice to pull off at this Avi event.
This year booking and organizing the events at the Avi have been such a breeze compared to previous years. I have been dealing with a new sales manager and she's very on top of things and willing to work with us to make these events bigger, better and more accommodating. One of the huge requests I pitched today actually went much better than I thought. Porta-pottys in the boat parking lot. They said at the August event, they will rent them for us and put them out there for us to use. For those of you who have been going to the Avi for some time with SCJB know how huge this is!
Everything else for this event is falling into place nicely. We picked up a sponsor called Michelada Love. They make a bloody mary type mix to mix with your beer to make those popular red beers. A bottle will be put into each room at the hotel that was booked under the group rate.
Also, Brett from SpeedBoat Magazine who is their editor and also puts together the section 'Brett's Cove' will be coming to the event go cover it. In the past he sent out Kenny to shoot the event and Brett would write the article, but he wants to come out and experience the event first hand. This is Brett's first SCJB event so please make him welcome.
And of course, this goes without saying, please drive safe and mindful of the people around you. No drinking and driving will be tolerated. The beach is still open to the public so there will be non-jetboat people there. Please respect them and their space.

And of course, this goes without saying, please drive safe and mindful of the people around you. No drinking and driving will be tolerated. The beach is still open to the public so there will be non-jetboat people there. Please respect them and their space.
