OK since the great bouy debate was moved then eliminated, I'll revise it a little here. The final word from SCSC has come down, and it is this; The fact of the matter is that they have a flat bouy, and they have a photo of a boat clearly hitting/running over a bouy, therefore that driver is responsible. Even if the bouy he hit was not the one that was flattened, he will pay for the flattened bouy, SCSC's feeling is that he hit the bouy so hard that he was damn lucky if it didn't get flattend, and if a bouy didn't get flattened over the weekend he would have gotten away with it. But since a bouy was flattened, by somebody, and nobody is taking responsibility, this driver will be penalized for the flattened bouy because of the obviously hard hit he did to his bouy. Does that make sense? Basically, the bouy was hit so hard, that it should have gone flat, as penalty to the driver for this, he will pay the price of a flat bouy, to replace the one that was flattened, if he hit it or not.
I think somebody may be starting a bouy money raiser very shortly.
