If you see something you like, let him know. If you see something you want to purchase, let him know. He can send you a CD with several photos and you can get them printed or he can get them printed for you. He also has done large prints/posters for some of his drag racing customers.

He has just started posting pics from today and will probably take a couple days to get all of them posted. I know he took around 500 pictures. Be sure to check back oftin to see if he got a good pic of your ride ;D

Can't wait to see 'em (Had I known you were bringing him, I'da dressed better and rode RJ harder to clean the boat better! ;D)

Had a thought on the drive home, we shoulda had the Brunette with the new "bolt-ons", as Hallet Dave put it, that she was so proud of and making sure she passed in front of every camera lean or lay on Moo near the "Udder Nonsense" stencil. How classic would THAT be? >:D (Photoshop anyone?)

I haven't even attempted to d/l what Becca took. But if anything like she took at AVI, should be some winners in there!

Maybe tomorrow night.

Ray, you leave 'Becca alone, she didn't bother me, well not too much anyway ;) The Hallett ran great, spent some time talking with Tom Bandy about his boat, his setup and how he hit 107 with a heavy hull and relatively small engine (489 CI @ 10:1 on pump gas) The Hallett will be getting some much needed love soon, going to start as soon as I wash the oil off the transom :mad:

Tom Papp was a great man, with a lot of good friends, that was evident yesterday.

I had a hell of a great time, it was great to meet you guys. Ray lol i had no idea how much your boat actually looked like a cow, lol mark, your a freaking riot, lol. Even after my jet decided it wanted to be a rock chomper and taking it apart at the launch ramp to get em out, i had a great time. That shit was sickkkkkkkkk. Thanks to jay for helping me with my trailer wiring, lol and the jet, and to everyone who lent me helpful advice ansd some elbow grease. I couldn't have asked for a nicer more helpful group of guys. It was great to meet everyone whose names I can't remember lol my brain was floating afterwards :-)

Post by: maddogg20 on January 10, 2010, 01:55:53 PM: I was idling around right outside the marina, and i noticed that the diverter wasnt working so i pulled up on the beach, after looking over to check for depth, not knowing that the lake was soo dirty that even at ankle deep you cant see your feet, so i hopped out to hook the diverters negative back up t the battery and when i jumped out into 6 inch water i knew there was a problem. I hooked it back up and pushed the boat back into deeper water (up to my knees) and fired it up. All seemed ok, and the boat moved ok forewards and reverse at idle but when I took it up anything above 2000 it felt like there wasnt any water moving thru the jet because the motor just wrapped up and I didnt go anywhere so I idled back to the marina and got it ont he trailer, and checked the koader grate and didnt see anything, then jay suggested I pull the inspection cover off and low and behold, there were rocks stuck in every vane. So i got into it with a flathead screwdriver and got all of them out and rotated it by hand to check, and the blades looked fine, but i figured it it was cracked or bent, i was screwed anyways, so just run it, but once i got out of the marina, and got on it, it felt just like it did before so I was lucky. :-) I have pics of the rocks and stuff I still need to put up, but ill do it later.

I hadnt ever been to elsinore before so I didnt know what to expect, I heard someone say that the water was only like 8 feet deep in the deepest part, so id be suprised if others didnt get stuck, lol Damn canyon lake stealing all the water.

All that area to the left when you came back in where people had parked and set up camp was underwater a year ago. When they dredged the channel for the marina they dug down to a water depth (at the time) of 16 feet. I think that was about 4 or 5 years ago.

Canyon Lake doesn't steal it, they get it first. They just refuse to share it. Elsinore only gets it when it runs OVER the damn dam.

8 feet? Yeah, maybe a little more than that but not much. :screwy:

Can do a ton of damage, but normally just nick up an already nicked up impeller a bit more if you're running aluminum. (Brad helped me get a real stubborn one out at Big River. That thing was IN There good!).

Ray, you leave 'Becca alone, she didn't bother me, well not too much anyway ;) The Hallett ran great, spent some time talking with Tom Bandy about his boat, his setup and how he hit 107 with a heavy hull and relatively small engine (489 CI @ 10:1 on pump gas) The Hallett will be getting some much needed love soon, going to start as soon as I wash the oil off the transom :mad:

Tom Papp was a great man, with a lot of good friends, that was evident yesterday.

oh stop that..droolin...i seen so much stuff going up the 15, i cant recall the yellow toyota, but i am sure i seen it. i kept telling my g/f look at all these desert toys, must be someplace up here where they ride, then i seen a few places and some signs where they were all going..

n8dawg (nate) ,, it is always goodtimes to see ya also. we made the trip for that exact reason to do something different, had a great weeknd and theweather was great and meet a few new people also. and got to see some ol friends..looking forward to more events and a great year for boating and getting together again. in fact lori asked me last night what events do we have planned for so far this year, i was like shit i dont know for sure but i know we are booked up for alot of boating outings until end of april that i could think right off the top of my head..dam i gonna need her to get another job, gots lots of fuel to buy.. we also have the big (lake boat) that we also basically do the same thing with that we do with the jet. so we double the dose of boating pleasures..

anyways lokking forward to more this year to come.. :thumbup:
