My neighbor Kirk machined this new strut support for the other boat. Way more stout then the old one.That's a serious piece of material

What I mean is, I like how the flanges that bolt to the strut are an integral part of the truss. Looks like you had to start with a 4" thick piece of material and carve it down to 3/8" thick at the webbing. That's hard core!
