Title: Finely done with boat
Post by: Bigblockchevy on June 16, 2013, 11:05:01 PM
I have a 78 Tahiti.  I've been building for about a year now.  I'm finely done thank god.  I grew up with jet boat and finely bought my own.  Boat was cool and rocked it for about 4 years.  The hull was falling apart and got sick of repairing it.  I learn alot from it.  I took the motor out and sold the hull.  I found this hull with out motor and want to start from scratch.  I went through the motor witch is a BBC 454.  I chance alot of things and just started from bear block.  I new it was going to be a process but ready for it.  I'm off to a hot rod.  Long story short I'm done and proud of what my boat had came out to be. I'm motor head from heart and just was a fun project.  I was finely able to test for the first time Friday.  Boat ran great and no regrets at all.  Thanks to all the input and things everyone post on ideas.  I did not write much but did read alot what everyone had to say about other issues.  Well here is my boat for the first time on the water after a long time of build and money.  Well done and very proud of the out come.

Took some time but worth the time.  If your building a boat time is everything don't rush it.  At the end you will not come back and say damn I should have done that.  The water is not going anywhere.  Thanks to all for info of what to do and not to do leave things simple and enjoy what you work hard on.  Again thanks hope to see some of you soon
