Single car air scoop mounts

Best way to prevent single carb tray from spinning air scoop? Any one have any suggestions other than all thread into carb and a bracket and wing nut?

Just looking for ideas thanks

You could try one of these.
I haven't used one on a single carb deal myself but I've read where lots of guys have and didn't have any problems.

Check out J&J Performance on the interwebs.
I know Jegs sells them for Dominators but I purchased from the manufacturer for 4150's

damn!!! I just searched high and low for a 4150 style, gonna just make this one work, I got it through jegs. Before this I just used my spark arrestor

I couldn't find the 4150 size either but I called J&J and they sent them right out to me in a couple days.
They are out of Ohio. ( 330 ) 567-2455

Bringing this one back from the dead because I can't seem to find a way to get my Dooley from spinning. I've seen where guys are notching their scoops and putting pins in their carbs but there has to be an easier way. I'm running a Dooley single scoop with the flame arrestor on a Holley 850. What is the consensus?
