Did you figure it out? I just had the same problem. Ripped the bulkhead out, took interior out, and had a friend of mine help with the rest, we cut a 6 foot section of the floor out, sanded the old glass that was deteriorated, patched it back up with 3 layers of 3oz mat and 1 layer of a solid bidirectional weave. Then sanded the outside of the hull and patched it with 2 layers of 3oz mat and a good layer of marine putty, sanded it smooth then gel coat was applied.
There are a lot of factors that can cause these cracks in that area, 40 years of beatings, trailers not being set up for long hauls, and so on. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
