73 Glencoe subfloor Q's

I have a 1973 Glencoe 19' hull,1/4 stringer, with soft spots on the floor. It probably has a TON of water in the (sub)floor. Is this hull worth re-flooring? It also has a hook in the last 4' (6'?) of the hull. Is it worth putting full stringers in it? Pump set back? leave well enough alone?
The pump was redone 4/09, has about 25+/- hrs. on it, MPD preped SS Jacuzzi "B" Impeller, place diverter, etc... This hull turned really well compared to other hulls I've owned or driven, and takes Mohave chop fairly well. the new mill will be a 460 Ford, when the time comes.
I've heard (read) about "Chopper gun Glencoe's," how do I tell if it hand laid or a chopper gun hull?
I've owned this boat for 11 years, and its time to redo or pull the pump and find a different hull.

any boat is worth redoing the floor, its just something that wears out over time. any anyone can redo their own floor if they can operate some simple tools like a saw and a paintbrush and mix up some resin and mat to glass it in. its just all labor, its not rocket science.

as far as that other stuff thats up to you and your wallet.

the floor would not bbe too bad to do, stringers well that's gunna cost ya and in the end you still have a 1/4 stringer glencoe with a jacuzzi

sorry man you asked...

now if you can find a hondo, they came with cuzzi's in them and you would be money ahead re-sale wise.

if the boat has sentamental value, well then fix it and enjoy it, just dont expect to get your money back if you ever sell it.

Is it worth the trouble to go full stringer?
Would that help the hook in the bottom?
Labor is cheap...

going full stringer may make it worse then better, the hull mite have been set up to flex a little bit. how much hp are you going to throw at it?

no it wont help the hook, you will have to flip the boat over and fill the hook

Never noticed this hull flexing like others I've been in.
Looking at 450+ (or wishful thinking)
Turned 5500 with a mild BBC, 68.4 gps...Hopefully gonna lose some weight (me and the boat

) and get the bottom right, and some underwater hardware, and then fine tuning, I think 70 should be within reach.
