What is the proper way of installing this stuff? Seams pretty straight forward glass it in. Would like to know resins to use for a clear smooth finish. Brand and type would help out.

I assume your talking end grain honeycomb?
It's glassed to the boats inside surface using finish cloth, then cloth on the top surface the last resin coat should be surfboard resin with UV inhibitors.
It's important to get all the air possible out from between the blocks, thinning the resin helps.
Vacuum bagging works incredibly well.
