Circle boat hull design

All right now I'm confused, not that it was difficult to do...

I've read many times that a Rogers 18' Bonneville is one of the best circle race hulls out there, I've read the same for Liberty hulls, and there was another brand but I've already forgotten which one it was.

If you look at the back of a Rogers and the back of LilRicks Liberty they don't look the same at all. The Rogers has a deeper V than the Liberty. The two boat's entries are equally different.

What makes up a great circle race boat hull?

A quality, full stringer hull should be first and foremost. The setup and rigging of the boat is going to determine how well the boat works. The hardest challenge to overcome(IMO) is keeping the pump loaded in the rough water,especially in the turns where it's the roughest. Skag and weight placement in the boat is a priority to make these things turn. I am experimenting with some ideas that I have gotten in the past with the hornet. Also, hardware adjusting is essential for these rough water boats too. What works on a drag boat isnot necessarily going to work on a roundy round.

Some of the better trates to have are, a rocker bottom (faster and less prone to stuffing) Light weight but strong hull, Balance of power and angle (Thrust Angle), Getting through the corners and excellerating to top speed quickest will win most races (good turning boat with all the hardware needed).
