Well guys finely got the new paint on the boat. Richard and I spent most of the day today masking and painting. We did 4 colors today. White base color was done on the Wed, the Blue was done Thurs, Magenta was laid on yesterday, today we put the yellow with tangerine fade on after that we put a silver with black tape fade stripes on. Tomorrow it will get cleared and it will be finished.
Here are the pics as we went along.

Clear Coat is on and she is all done. Now it goes back to Richards house for some wood dowels to plug all the holes in the stringers that we won't be needing, and then it goes to advantage boats in Havasu to get the inside gel coated.

Damn, looks great, keep the pics coming. Doesn't look like you are cutting ANY corners on that thing. The anodized blue hardware is a nice touch!
-
Louis, that boat is looking bitchin. Can't wait to see it in Burley.
What u got for power going in it?
-
Nick,
All the hardware is the same hardware that came out, we didn't have enough time to gt it re-done.
Ron,
Have a 500in APBA legal spec motor out of a super cat/vee light, that I picked up. Should push it along pretty good.
-
Wow, there should be some good racing in front of me. With you, Lance, Toby, and Terry battleing it out.
I'll have the best seat at the races. Although it may get alittle wet and choppy in the back.
-
boat looks incredible, you guys did a fantastic job :)
-
Looks bitchin!!! I really dig the hell out of the blue.
-
Well I finely finished the 402. There were a couple of small problems when we water tested it. Had one water leak ( some one for got to tighten the water temp sending capillary nut ) easy fix though. The other was a oil leak around the front of the pan, so I pulled the motor back out and put a new pan gasket and some remodeling to the pan. Should be good to go.:D
Here are a couple shots of it on the water.

That thing is sexy as hell! You got the racier motor in it?
-
damn nice work! i hope mine comes out half as nice as that!!!!!!! great looking!
-
If you look in the back ground of the pic in front of Advantage Boats, The red, blue and black boat is a tunnel hull Lavey Craft. One of my customers bought that boat and im building a motor for it right now. My shop is a stones throw from Advantage. Sorry to hi-jack the thread just thought it was cool. Nice float by the way. Matt
