Title: Color codes for 1975 Southwind Yellow /Orange boat
Post by: ZOO_CREW on June 28, 2013, 02:48:29 PM
Hi everybody,
First time on here. I have been a jet owner for 25 years.  Picked this one up 5 years ago. So far I have only done the pump on it. Gonna try and do the seats soon so I am sure you all will be hearing from me again soon.

I just traded a closet revamp for a 1984 Southwind 23' Motorhome with 60,000 mi.  The guy was a mechanic, so everything works great.  The problem is I am a proud Southwind  owner and want to make them proud and have the paint schemes match.

Does anyone know the color codes of the orange and yellow on my boat?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome and good score on the motohome, its probably gonna be pretty hard to find a exact color match from the boat, but those colors are gonna look awesome on the lil coach once its painted

You will probably have to match up some color books to the boat to find a color thats the same.. If you cant find anything I have a camera that takes pics of paint and will produce a formula and a paint code for any color on the world!!!  :o You would have to drive down to OC for me to take it but I wouldnt charge you anything

Thanks for the offer, I was just being lazy. I have been looking through a couple fan decks. I believe I found the right color orange. "tangerine" is what im going with. Actually the color next to it was a little closer but it had some wussie name, so it wasn't happening.  Thanks again.
