I'd like to add a false floor in my lil bros 76 Hallett. I believe thats what its called; between the stringers above the "V". It seems like a job we can handle on a saturday. Can I do this on the trailer, or should I lift it and support it on jack stands? What materials do I need? And what is the correct procedure? Thanks for any advice.

With a full stringer boat like that, I would build a removable floor, resin it, carpet it and go. Make it fit tight. That boat doesn't need the structural reinforcement that a 1/4 stringer boat needs.
My Saguaro has one, full stringers, too and the floor is at the bottom of the stringers. More legroom for my right foot. :thumbup:
BTW, if you are makin' a 'hot rod' out of this hull, leave out the floor, its just adds more weight.

100% fully agree.
Make a very light, removable floor and drop it between the stringers.

Removable🤔.... so maybe carpet the whole thing first then add a carpeted floor that will just slip in but tight?

Leave the very bottom under the false floor naked...... easier to clean when the motor shits itself.
You can install a small bulkhead at the front of the bilge and have a lip for it to sit under and use two small "L" brackets at the front bulkhead. Been doing it that way for years. The throttle and Place Diverter cables hide neatly away too....
