Title: Fiberglass support for 2nd battery

I fiberglassed a support for my boat today. Not sure if I can fix the fiberglass it's my first time doing fiberglass. Can I fix the areas where it was flush with the wood?

Put on protective gear like gloves an mask. Sand away the wrinkles an lay one more flat coat using a squeegee. You could lay a large piece of wax paper over it to allow the top surface full cure an/or able to sand.
