My seats currently sit centered on my stringers I want to move them more to the sides of the boat, but by doing so my steering wheel would be offset of the seats and doesn't feel or look right. What would be the best way to fill in these holes so I can punch new ones? You can see in the pics where my steering wheels currently sits I would like to put it in the hole on the port side which would line up perfectly for my new seat location

The proper way to do it is to replace the plywood behind the dash. You can then make "plugs" with a hole saw when you drill the new holes. Fiberglass them in and start block sanding.
