What engine do you have?

Pics?

I know that my Hondo doesn't have enough room to fit twisties on the BBC.  I only have 9" between the rear exhaust port and the inside of the hull.

I've seen people install metal shields between the fiberglass and the headers to give it some protection.

Good luck

My old mako was pretty tite....but regular old bassets worked.  Where are you located?  I can send you them for "test fit" if you'd like.  The collectors Are all fawked up from dragging them an the bottom of the river, but you can at least see if they fit

Twistys sit a little lower than the regular Bassetts. If all else fails Bassett will make you a custom set or find some upsweeps.
