Well finally getting around to do the floor now the trailer is fitted correctly..i got the carpet pulled last night i think that was the only thing holding it together...im gonna sand it and start laying fiberglas tonight...i think the reason why it cracked was cause the trailer and whoever did last did a poor job

What weight fiberglass did you use and materials (resin, etc)? I have never worked with fiberglass before. I need to mold in some composite pieces to act as anchor points for a new aluminum tank. The old fiberglass tank was part of the bow and fiberglass into the molding but started to leak from ethanol fuel I suspect. I also have a few fiberglass places I need to reinforce before I set the new tank it.
Any tips? Thank you in advance.

So I went to Home Depot and got the Fiberglas and resin from there. I used the glass mat that they have in a bag it’s like $6 a bag. Resin was the bonds and a bag in f cheap paint brushes to dap it on and that was it. We cut each sheet into strips and first wet the wood with the resin let it tack up the layed the 2in and dabbed the resin till it turn clear let it tack then the 4in and same process for the 6in

Thank you that is very helpful. Do you sand between layers or only after the final resin on the last layer?
-
Nope no sanding between layers and none on final either I let it dry for a day then laid the carpet over it and glued it down
