Title: Floor seperation
Post by: 08chevyguy on June 22, 2017, 06:43:12 PM
My boat still has the original floors from 81 and they and the stringers look great. But the floor in the middle has seperated or pulled away from the stringer maybe an 1/8 of an inch. Im helping my buddy build a duck boat and he has some extra polyester resin. My question is, can i just pour some in the gap to seal it up so water wont get in between there and rot anything out? I know its not a permanent fix, but i was just wondering if that would work for the rest of the season anyways or what yall think. Thank you for any info and help/suggestions
