Hello every one!! I just purchased a jet boat and gel coat looks great but it has cracks. How do I properly repair/refinish these? Thank you in advance. Have a great day!

Welcome to SCJB.
From what I’ve read on these forums over the years, the cracks are actually in the fiberglass. That means to fix it properly you’d have to grind out the crack and feather the fiberglass back in.
If you were to just re-gel over the crack, I think it would just come back as the hull flexes.

I thank you for the welcome and your knowledge and advice. Not what I wanted to hear. But that does sound like the only way. The right way!

I am new here myself. However, I would recommend checking your floor for soft spots. Sometimes cracks in the gel coat can be from a bad stringer.
