Title: Gel Coat Restore and protection/ What's Good

I typed in Gel Coat restoration and endless products came up. What do you use and what works better than some??

West Marine sells a product called Fiberglass Restorer. It tends to work real good with a high speed buffer from my experiences.

I just put on some ProtectAll Fiberglass Restorer last night and it made a great difference. My father in law suggested it and it is a great product. I tried mothers etc. and after the wax dried the fading came right back. I threw a coagt of Protect all last night and took a look this morning and it looks GREAT ;D
Deep Gloss Shine, and even a little reflection. The best part is that is only cost $20.00. My F.I.L. has used there polish,protect, on his cars for years and they all look showroom condition after baking in the sun for years. Good Stuff

Try using a rubbing compound and then wake it Should come a lot better. You might even need to wet sand before using the rubbing compound if your trying to get out scratches.
