Title: Glass work near La Mirada
Post by: bobjthomson on February 01, 2018, 02:56:33 PM
Hey brothers I’m looking for a good place to get glass work done on the interior as I just removed the last remaining crap from the old fiberglass tanks . Much appreciated

I don't know if you found anyone yet, but Todd/TRG fiberglass is over the hill in Rowland Heights. You'll have to search the site for his #. Good guy, good work. Worth the call.

Performance fiberglass in La Habra gutted my old fiberglass tanks and glassed in new tank mounts for me.  Or Mel’s custom boats right next to Bender ready mix on Rosecrans in Santa Fe springs.

I took it to Mel’s.......... not happy with the Finnish product . Got the boat back and the fit an Finnish is crap , had to make spacers so the wood doesn’t bow in and spend a few hrs cleaning sticky hand an finger prints on the hull . Lesson learnt but thanks for the info bro . When it’s time to do the whole hull I will be going to trg

It’s cool bro , when I blow the boat apart next time will have it done right , going to replace stringers and re glass the whole interior, just doing all the mechanical stuff and get it wet then pull everything out and get new gel top an bottom , will be posting the build when the time comes .
