Title: hole repair help

i need some help. im not really sure how to go about fixing a hole in the front of my gfs dads boat. its right above the rope hook up front. iv worked withglass alittle bit(couple sub boxes). iv read that epoxy is best to use and to use west marine products. any info and instruction would be great guys
