Figured someone here might know.
I have only ever worked/sprayed pearl one time. It was a 92 Camaro i had, and i had a black base coat with very light purple pearl in the clear.
Having never used it before, i was very happy with how it came out. I do not have any pictures of it, but it had a slight maroon color to it. I really liked it.
As much as i'd like to buy a different hull. At the current time or anytime in the foreseeable future thats not going to happen. i HATE the flames on my boat, i know some people dig them but im not a fan. And the paint is in pretty poor condition as it is.
I am throwing around ideas on what color to paint my Rogers, i want something different than White. I am seriously considering painting it the color of my truck (Tungsten Gray Metallic). Heres what im thinking, the color is a darker color so it should go very nicely with all of my Candy red accents. And the Red anodized rub rail would go well with it.
Question for you guys, im thinking about spraying it in the color of my truck, or a close color. And adding a bit of Red pearl to the clear. Not enough to really change the color of the Gray, but enough to see the "red" in the sunlight.
Here's a picture of a truck like mine and what the color will looks like in the sunlight

What say you?
