OK so now that I have the engine and pump out I'm thinking about flipping the boat and working the bottom :screwy:
I figure I'll just coat the bottom in speed coat instead of painting after I repair some scratches and out of shape repairs from when I repaired the holes from the old fuel tank mounts.
How well does speed coat cover and how much will it take to do about 10-12' of the bottom?
I also found an old post on River Racer by Billy B. saying that he rolled it on with a nappie roller and then knocked it down with a scotch brite pad.
