So how should or well could I go about cleaning this up so it looks better than it does now. Or is there someone floating around that's worth a damn to pay?

buff it out! good luck getting any flake to match!

most of those scratches on the side can be removed with some rubbing compound and a DA. you're not gonna remove that by hand.

Those ain't just regular scratches its gouged into the hull

I think if you just want it to look "good from afar" I would wet sand around the bad area with some 400 grit and go buy some clear gel coat and just cover that area. Once done, color sand it again down to about 1200 grit and hit it with a polisher.... :thumbup:
The metal flake would be a bitch to match, just filling it in a little would really make a difference.
GT
