Title: Name of the part?
Post by: hotrod56cars on January 07, 2008, 03:41:41 PM
What's the name of the part that you can install at your air compressor that removes water from the air compressor's output. I think painters have them on their air compressor's.

Thanks

One product is indeed called desiccant, it's the polymer-bound adsorbent beads you find in screw on canisters for the end of spray guns,
or in canisters. They can also be called air dryers, water seperators, inline air filters but most call them air filters  :P ;D
Real question Rod is how much you want to spend?  Air Dryers can run thousands of $$$$$  and a whirlwind filter can be as cheap as $6.00

Sorry rod. Just having fun. Don't get a chance to do much of that anymore, working 7 days a week and all.
